NCC Report 2010 - 2011
N.C.C. Committee started its activities with enrolment drive in June, 2010. Elegant charts and posters attracted the students and this year there was a rise in enrolment. 26 new cadets are enrolled for this year.
Independence Day was celebrated with usual fervor and enthusiasm on 15th August, 2010. A platoon of 21 cadets was commanded by S.U.O. Pawan Mourya very elegantly. The National Flag was unfurled by our Principal, Dr. K. V. Mangaonkar. He also administered the Oath to the cadets. Cultural items were presented by our cadets on College Terrace. Prizes were given by the Principal to our cadets. The programme was attended by ex-cadets in large number, parents, students and staff of our college.
Our Cadets have attended the following camps all over India in this academic year.
2 Cadets were selected and attended Sthal Sainik Camp from 5th to 15 July, 2010 at Nasik. 4 Cadets were selected and attended Army Attachment Camp from 13th to 20th September, 2010 at Ahmednagar. 2 Cadets were attended and selected for Annual Training Camp from 15th to 24th September, 2010 at Wadala.
12 Cadets were selected and attended Annual Training Camp from 5th to 14th October, 2010 at Wadala.
11 Cadets were selected and attended Annual Training Camp from 19th to 28th October, 2010 at Wadala.
6 Cadets were selected and attended Annual Training Camp from 29th October to 7th November, 2010 at Wadala.
2 Cadets were selected and attended Shivaji Tracking Camp from 24th November, to 6th December, 2010 at Kolhapur.
9 cadets were selected and attended Avhan Camp from 24th December 2010 to 1st January, 2011 at Kalina.
2 Cadets were selected and attended National Integration Camp from 25th December, 2010 to 5th January, 2011 held at Naya Nagale, Punjab.
3 Cadets has been selected and will attend the National Integration Camp at Nashik from 4th to 15th May 2011.
1 of our NCC cadet Ajit Shitole has been selected in Indian Army and joining his training in February, 2011.
