- Every candidate appearing for the T.Y.B.A. examination under the revised pattern must submit one project each under papers VI and IX in the relevant subjects by prescribed dates, failing which he/she will not be permitted to appear for the said examination without having submitted the required projects. His or her performance at the said examination shall be treated as null and void (Vide Cir. No. UG/252 of 28th May 1996)

First semester and Second semester examinations FY/SY B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. : These
examinations are conducted by the college on behalf of University of Mumbai as per University rules and
guidelines. There shall be two examinations, one at the end of each semester and they shall be called
first semester and second semester examinations respectively. The first semester examination shall
be based on the portion of the syllabus taught in the first semester and the second semester examination
shall be based on the portion of the syllabus taught in the second semester , as prescribed by the
University of Mumbai.
The first and second semester examinations shall be of 2 hours duration and of 60 marks per paper/
subject.
- Additional Examination : A student who does not appear/fails in some or all the papers course either
at the first semester examination or at the second semester examination is eligible to appear for the
additional examination only if such application along with necessary documents is received within fifteen
days of the conduct of the respective examination.
- Standard of Passing: The passing in the subjects course at F.Y. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. shall be separate
for first and second semester examinations. The appearance at both semester examinations, tutorials
evaluations and the practical examination shall be compulsory.
In order to pass, a student must secure a minimum of 40% marks in a course (subject).
A students should pass separately in internal (40%) and external (60%) component in each course (subject),

ATKT:- A learner will be allowed to keep term for Semester III ( Second Year ) as per University
norms which are applicable from time to time.
The new credit and grading system will be applicable to S.Y.B.A /B.Com /B.Sc students from the
academic year 2012-13.
