Research Committee and its Recommendations There is a research committee with Dr.(Mrs.) Z. R. Turel as In-charge of the committee.

The meetings are held to review the progress of research in the College. Some of the research committee’s recommendations are briefly given below:
To prepare a volume consisting of research papers published or presented every year, for ready referencing and availability for the staff and students of the college and to place the same in the library. To consult senior research guides from our Departments and take their help and assistance in formulating and guiding the researchers. To encourage the staff and students to participate in the scientific deliberations and to interact with eminent personalities from research centres and Institutions like BARC, TIFR, IIT, Mumbai University, UICT, etc. and gain their support for assisting the researchers with the excellent facilities they possess.To encourage the staff and students to be member of various libraries such as USIS, British Council, University of Mumbai, BARC, etc.To request the authorities of the College to increase the budget for procuring new journals, chemicals, apparatus and instruments. To have an open defense system henceforth whereby the student will make his presentation of his research work before peers of the college prior to submission of their thesis. The recommendations of the committee have been implemented.
The College has not been lagging behind in the publication of research papers in peer reviewed National and International journals, articles, books, presentations at various National and International Conferences, etc. The staff and the students have obtained recognition at various academic Meets for the quality of research work and presentation.
