Women Development Cell

It is a body which has been functioning under the Mumbai University’s Women Development Cell. The main aim of WDC, according to the Supreme Court judgment, is to entertain complaints about sexual harassment within the premises of College. All women employees and students are in the sphere of WDC’s activity. Various issues related to sexual harassment of women can also be taken up by WDC.

Some cases in which the WDC received complaints, were successfully resolved by WDC and the issue of dress code was also taken up. In July 2010, the WDC organized a Gender Sensitization Programme jointly with WDC of University of Mumbai. Members of our WDC are attending seminars and workshops organized by different colleges and the University.
